Pastoral Care Volunteer Opportunities

Do you have a compassionate heart and skills, resources or expertise that can help others in our TFCA family? Call to find out which of the 60+ ministries you may be best equipped. Know the joy of the Lord blessing another through you. The Storehouse of Service Ministry involves each of us in gratitude for what the Lord has done in our lives. Next Steps
These “entry-level” opportunities provide connections to the various ministries of TFCA and involve little or no training. No long-term commitment is required, just a desire to start the process of discerning where God may want you to serve in the life of the church. As you connect with a ministry and as God leads, other positions such as small group leadership, discipleship, and teaching will become apparent.

 
Flower Delivery 
Drive to deliver flowers from the Sunday morning services to parishioners.
When: Sunday after church. Contact the Pastoral Care Team at 571-282-0201.

 
Meals at No Notice at All (MANNA Meals)
Prepare meals according to guidelines for frozen meal locker for parishioners dealing with illness, family death, or other stressful life circumstances.
When: To be called on an as-needed basis. Contact the Pastoral Care Team at 571-282-0201.

Rides to the Doctor  
Drive those unable to drive themselves to doctor’s appointments.
When: To be called on an as-needed basis. Contact the Pastoral Care Team at 571-282-0201.

Receptionist Assistant Substitute
Coverage for the front desk as needed when the receptionist is away on leave or in a meeting. A person who is cheerful, flexible and can multitask would be a good fit. Training is provided. If interested in learning more, contact Betty Sue at 571-282-0100 or e-mail reception@tfcanglican.org.
