Confirmation
Through Confirmation in the Anglican tradition, new members profess their faith in Christ in the community of believers here with the blessing and prayers of our bishop. Christians at The Falls Church Anglican prepare intentionally and thoughtfully before making this important step. We strongly encourage you to become confirmed!
Confirmation Services at TFCA are held annually, during the 9 and 11 am Worship Services (next: May 5, 2013), with the the bishop and our clergy presiding. To participate in the service, becoming a Confirmed Communicant member of TFCA, you must complete the requirements of the Foundations of Faith/Confirmation Prep Course. The course text, Your Confirmation by John Stott, is available from the TFCA bookstore manager, Becky Irvine (birvine@tfcanglican.org) or in the class.
High School students are encouraged to consider on their own whether to pursue Confirmation next year.. Their course is offered separately, yet they will participate in the same services on May 5. . See the Confirmation Class page for more details at www.tfcanglican.org/confirmation.
More info on classes? Contact Erin O'Keefe, Connections & Community Coordinator, at eokeefe@tfcanglican.org or (571) 282-0700.
