APRIL 9: The “first” campaign – Lee vs. McClellan in western Virginia (West Virginia) in the spring, summer & fall of 1861. 

APRIL 16: The Jones-Imboden cavalry raid into western Virginia (West Virginia) in the spring of 1863. 

APRIL 23: The Kilpatrick-Dahlgren cavalry raid on Richmond in the winter of 1864. 

MAY 7: The Battle of Trevilian Station, Virginia – Sheridan vs. Hampton in the largest all cavalry battle on the north American continent in the spring of 1864.

MAY 14: Jubal Early’s raid on Washington and the Battle of the Monocacy in the summer of 1864.

MAY 21: Field trip: Battle of Monocacy, and the raid on Washington.
