Thursday Morning Bible Study

Our fall semester of morning Bible study begins Thursday, October 19, 9:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at 6565 Arlington Blvd. Childcare is provided, but registration is required.

Please note: We are starting a little later this year because of construction delays at 6565.

We will study the following from October to February

The Book of Acts

We will use John Stott’s workbook study Acts: Seeing the Spirit at Work as our guide. It'll be team taught by Libby Cannizzaro, Esther Powell & Rachel Temple, and will include time for small group discussion and prayer. This study will cover the exciting action of the Holy Spirit in the years just following Jesus’ life on earth, and open our eyes to the Spirit’s power in the early church and today.

Ezra & Nehemiah

Ezra & Nehemiah were "Early Church Builders." The study will be led inductively by Madelin Barratt & Virginia Watson. This group will use the Bible and a study written by the Rev. Jeffrey O. Cerar as a supplement.

Babes with Babes

Small group for moms with infants and young children – We will study A Praying Life: Connecting with God in a Distracting World, by Paul Miller. It'll be team taught by Erin Bronson, Caryn Dixon, Laurie Harmer, Esther Plaster, Meridyth Robinson, Lili Serebrov, Carly Smith, Alison Teply, Jasmine Vakerics and other guest teachers.
