Struggling and want prayer? Meet with a trained, confidential prayer team for inner, physical, or spiritual needs. Prayer appointments are thirty minutes and via TEAMS or in person.
We know that evangelism and revival can only be built upon a strong foundation of prayer. Please join us as we gather together to intercede for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit in and through our congregation. Come directly to Cranmer Chapel on the third floor of the 6565 building to pray with others, or contact Lesley Hackman for information on joining in prayer via conference call. The Prayer for Revival and Evangelism group will not meet on Tuesday, Dec. 26th 2023, in light of Christmas travel and celebrations.
On the third Tuesday of the month, meetings will be in Learning Center Rm. 108 on the first floor of the 6565 building.

Join the men of TFCA as we gather for a weekend of retreat at White Sulphur Springs Retreat Center near Manns Choice, Pennsylvania. We’ll hear three inspiring teachings from the New Testament letter 2 Timothy, as together we’ll seek to learn what it means to become vessels set apart to honor God in our lives as everyday disciples of Jesus Christ.
TFCA’s Intercessory Prayer and Outreach Ministries are collaborating to host a regular prayer meeting focused missions. Join us every first and third Friday of the month from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.
It is with great sadness that we inform you of a death in our TFCA family. Ulla Smedberg Dixon peacefully transitioned into the arms of Jesus on April 16, 2024. Ulla was the wife of Bill and mother of Christina.
A funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 29 at 1:30PM in the TFCA sanctuary. Burial services are planned at a later date.
Women’s Ministry is hosting a series of book clubs in June and July. Each evening gathering will include a presentation about the specific book listed for that date, followed by small group discussion and fellowship. Program begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Ministry Center.

You will be matched with five (or more!) women who (ideally!) live near you. Group assignments will be emailed by June 12, and then it is up to your group to coordinate schedules, hosting and potluck logistics at least twice this summer.

Healing from Trauma and Abuse
Join us in the sanctuary for a time of worship and prayer at our May healing service. The focus will be on healing prayer for those impacted by trauma or abuse. If you, a family member or friend have experienced the deep pain of trauma or abuse, then please join us. You will have the opportunity to receive confidential personal prayer at the end of the service. We equally welcome those who would like prayer for matters apart from the focus of the service.

Come worship, fellowship, and receive a word from our own Stephanie Vogelzang on Monday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. as she encourages us with a message: "Being For One Another in a ’For Me’ Culture.” Stephanie will examine the unique concept of Christian fellowship and friendship, unpacking why being “for one another” in a “for me” culture is a Biblical alternative that yields rich rewards. On May 5th, following the 11 AM service (instead of our regular monthly lunch in the Back40) the 20s & 30s community will meet in church members’ homes for a post-service brunch! This is a great opportunity to meet new people within the 20s & 30s community and develop multi-generational relationships.
Drop in at your convenience at any time between 7PM and 9PM to receive silent intercessory prayer and rest in God's presence. R&R occurs on the first or fourth Thursday of the month in Cranmer Chapel. Please use the back door of 6565 for entrance after 8:30PM.
All are welcome to join us for an Intertwined Marriage Event featuring co-authors and speakers, David and Claudia Arp. Marriage takes work, and in the hustle and bustle of daily life, it is easy to forget that marriage also needs time for fun. James Howard Welch peacefully transitioned into the arms of Jesus on March 24, 2024. James was the husband of Mary, father of David Welch (Carolyn) and the grandfather of Zach, Danielle and Luke.

Many Christians lack an understanding of the complexities of temptation. Do you feel immediate condemnation when tempted? Or, can you see it as an opportunity for God to reveal Himself?
Men, please join us for our next Fireside Chat on April 9 as Rev. Bob Ragan, TFCA Congregational Care Deacon, helps us think about how to perceive temptation with divine objectivity, seeing it through God’s eyes.
On Friday, March 29, 10:00 am - 11:30 am in the Ministry Center families are invited to join us for a sacred and somber walk. The Way of the Cross, designed for children to engage with the events of Jesus’ last days.
Parents will accompany their child(ren) as they engage with art, Scripture, and a tactile experience at each station. The Way of the Cross experience is designed for elementary and pre-school children.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of a death in our TFCA family. Paul Stuart Milton passed into the loving arms of Jesus on February 10, 2024 in Wilmington, North Carolina. Paul was the husband of Cindy and father of Elizabeth Milton DiMarco (Justin), and grandfather to Gwyneth, Austin and Eleanor. A Memorial Service and reception will take place at TFCA on February 27 at 2 p.m. A private burial will take place in Winchester, VA.
Join us for our annual tradition that you won’t want to miss! We are inviting all dads, granddads, godfathers, and daughters to a special evening filled with dining and dancing, reminiscent of the 1950s. Dads can channel their inner cool with a leather jacket, while their Pink Ladies can spin in twirl-worthy poodle skirts for a retro-inspired dance. All ages are welcome to join in the fun!

During the TFCA Ash Wednesday service on February 14, there will be childcare for infants through preschool, and an Ash Wednesday program for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. During the children’s program, K-5th graders will receive ashes from clergy downstairs and then join parents in the Sanctuary for Communion.
Our Ash Wednesday Services are at Noon and 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The Imposition of Ashes will be at both services, and the evening service will include a time of Holy Communion.
Come enjoy the classic chick-flick Pride and Prejudice (2005) on the big screen!
We welcome all desiring prayer, even if your prayer needs are unrelated to infant loss. If you, a family member, or a friend have experienced miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth or the early death of a child, we especially invite you to join us. Everyone will have the opportunity to receive confidential personal prayer for any prayer need at the end of the service.

Ray Chartier and a group of winter sports enthusiasts are organizing a guy’s ski trip this winter and invite others to join them. Skiers/snowboarders of all ages and abilities, including fathers, sons, and singles, are welcome to join this weekend trip to Timberline Mountain, Davis, WV for a time for fellowship and bonding over the Word and the slopes!

Jon was the husband of Nancy and father of Rob (Rebecca), Andy (Erica), Katie (Jason) and Charlie and the grandfather of 11 precious children.

Instead of a Monthly Lunch in the Back40, the 20s & 30s community will meet in church members' homes for a post-service brunch!
