Join us for an evening of worship, encouragement and fellowship with a message of "The Blessing of the Virgin Birth" shared by Rev. Deacon Sharon Gustafson
We affirm every Sunday that we believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was “conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary.” What does that mean? Why does it matter? And why should I meditate on that truth this Advent? Come reflect on the Virgin Birth, a central Christian doctrine with practical relevance to each of us, and come adore the God-Man, Jesus, who offers us abundant life.

More about Rev. Deacon Sharon Gustafson:
Rev. Deacon Sharon Gustafson was born in 1958 to a Baptist pastor and a kindergarten teacher. She grew up the second of five sisters in a little town on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Sharon married David Gustafson in 1980 and was privileged to become a mother of nine. Family is her chief calling. Her 9 adult children, her children-in-law, and her 24 grandchildren are all worth more than their weight in gold.
Since law school graduation in 1991, Sharon has enjoyed pretty much every client she has represented, both as an employment lawyer and an adoption lawyer; however, her all-time favorite job was as a part-time hospital chaplain (2013 to 2019) and her second favorite job was as the General Counsel of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (2019 to 2021).
In 2017 Sharon was ordained as a Deacon in the Anglican Church of North America. She currently divides her workday between serving in Congregational Care at The Falls Church Anglican and providing legal representation to Christian employers.
