Sunday Morning Study: THE HOMILIES FROM THE 39 ARTICLES OF RELIGION
Meeting Time: Sundays, 9 a.m.–10:45 a.m., beginning September 8, 2024
Location: Learning Center Room 112
Men are warmly invited to join us on Sunday mornings for a facilitated study of modernized versions of 12 homilies (sermons) that were written in the 16th century and are part of the 39 Articles of Religion. From the book we'll use:
The Homilies were originally published in 1547, to help reform and renew the Church of England in the biblical faith of the Reformation. They unfold the doctrines of scripture, sin, salvation, and Christian living with clarity and verve. This is what makes returning to the Homilies—now, for the first time, updated in modern English—such an invigorating and life-giving thing to do today.
This class will run through December; a new study will begin in January 2025.

Men’s Thursday Morning Study: Victory in Spiritual Warfare
Meeting Time: Thursdays, 6:15 a.m.–7:30 a.m.
Location: Learning Center Room 112
Contact: Ringo Lanzetti or 703-283-0975
Join us weekly on Thursday mornings for prayer, fellowship, and discussion of materials focused on Biblical Manhood. There is no shortage of obstacles and challenges for men to be all God desires for them to be. The primary goal of this group is to encourage, challenge, and hold one another accountable as we seek to live according to the Biblical standard God sets before us. We are currently studying Tony Evans' Victory in Spiritual Warfare.
