Women's Ministry May Dessert

Come worship, fellowship, and receive a word from our own Stephanie Vogelzang on Monday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. as she encourages us with a message: "Being For One Another in a ’For Me’ Culture.” Stephanie will examine the unique concept of Christian fellowship and friendship, unpacking why being “for one another” in a “for me” culture is a Biblical alternative that yields rich rewards. Women’s Ministry is hosting a series of book clubs in June and July. Each evening gathering will include a presentation about the specific book listed for that date, followed by small group discussion and fellowship. Program begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Ministry Center.

Let’s get together for a casual dinner or brunch and connect with new and old friends!  

You will be matched with five (or more!) women who (ideally!) live near you. Group assignments will be emailed by June 12, and then it is up to your group to coordinate schedules, hosting and potluck logistics at least twice this summer. 

Please register by June 13, 2023. Assignments will be emailed on June 16, 2023.

Mission and Vision Statement

Women’s Ministry’s mission at The Falls Church Anglican is to know and follow Jesus. Our vision is to promote an authentic community of women who are ever growing in intimacy with God, who care for and love others well, and who are equipped and encouraged to share the gospel and their gifts within their spheres of influence. We accomplish this by providing discipleship opportunities and community life where women can come to faith in Jesus Christ, grow into maturity through the study of the Bible, and are transformed by His Word and Holy Spirit into the likeness of Jesus. 

God’s Word is alive and active and invites us to know Him in a deeper way. Proverbs 30:5 says, “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” When we study God’s Word we find truth, hope and real help, especially in this difficult season. Whether you are new to Bible study or have been in God’s Word for years, there is a place for you in our ministry to women at The Falls Church Anglican. Watch this short video from The Rev.
