Islam has grown from 230 million to 1.9 billion Muslims in the last 100 years. And yet, since the start of the 21st century we have seen more Muslims come to faith in Christ than in all the previous 1,400 years of Islamic history combined. How has this happened? The vast majority of conversions happen when Muslims encounter Christians who love Jesus Christ.

This class is designed to help us better understand Islam and equip us to be effective witnesses for Christ to our Muslim friends, neighbors and co-workers. The class will offer a practical introduction to the history and teaching of Islam and provide a foundation for evangelism and answering common questions. Rev. Robert Watkin will be the lead teacher for this course, with guest contributions from Matt Kasowski (Executive Director, For the Nations DC), and Muslim-background believers who will share their powerful stories of conversion to Christianity.
