If you’ve ever felt like everyone else gets to rest after they’re cared for, but you have to keep going… this night is for you.
On Friday, we’ll close Prayer Week with an evening focused on “Caring for the Caregivers,” grounded in Mark 6:30-32, where the disciples return tired and overloaded, and Jesus says, “Come away by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” I’ll be talking about a Lord who doesn’t just love the crowds; He loves the ones carrying the crowds, teachers, nurses, parents, social workers, first responders, ministry leaders, government workers, and anyone quietly holding families and systems together.
From there, we’ll move into a time of healing prayer, not a spotlight, not a show, but space for the Holy Spirit to tend to the places that are bruised, anxious, exhausted, or in need of physical, emotional, or spiritual healing. We’ll lay hands on those who desire it, pray for wholeness, and ask God to restore what constant caregiving often wears thin. Along the way we’ll also put real tools in your hands, prayer books, guides, and simple ways to connect with others who do what you do, so you don’t walk back into your calling alone.
You’ll be prayed for, blessed, and gently recommissioned, not to grind harder, but to go out knowing you are seen, loved, resourced, and being healed as you serve. If you’re running on empty, carrying more than you let on, or simply hungry for God’s presence and healing, come Friday night. We’d be honored to stand with you.
