Help prepare lunch for a day shelter located at 1st Christian Church. Contact Jenny Byrne to be placed on the work list.
Save the Date! Friendsgiving - the Thanksgiving meal we share with our friends. Join us as we eat and fellowship with the 20's & 30's group. Registration to open the beginning of November.
Save the Date! Join us in the Sanctuary for a piano concert by Raffi Kasparian, followed by a Christmas Tea in the Narthex. Registration to open mid-November.
Gather weekly to read 2-page writings on an assigned topic (examples: Sharing Faith with Others, Learning to Drive, Something Which Made You Stop in Wonder or Awe, or A Spiritual Marker in Your Life).
Join us for a visit to the Library of Congress with docent, Rev. Cannon Neal Brown. The LOC owns one of the four remaining original Gutenberg Bibles; see this and many other antiquities.
After the tour, enjoy lunch at the Madison Building Cafeteria accessible via the underground tunnel system.
We will travel by bus large enough to accommodate walkers and transport chairs.
Wear comfortable shoes and bring money for lunch. Plan to board the bus by 9:15.
